Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to provide information about the basic concepts, structure, operation, organization, institution, regulation, products and services of the banking sector.

1.Students learn both the concept of banking and the history of banking.
2.Students know how the banks are set up and what activities the banks are allowed to do.
3.Students have detailed knowledge of how the banks work and the products and services they offer customers.
4.Students know where the funds are located and how they use them.
5.Students examine how banks are making profits and what risks they face.
6.Students get detailed information about derivative transactions.
7.Students learn how the banks are managed.
8.Students analyze the balance sheet and off-balance sheet transactions of banks.
