Objectives of the Course

The aim of the Digital Literacy course is to provide students with the competence to understand and use digital technologies effectively, to develop critical thinking skills in accessing information and to be aware of their ethical responsibilities in the digital world.

Course Content

Digital Literacy and Social Media is a course that aims to provide students with the necessary skills to understand the importance of the digital world, to use digital technologies effectively and to understand the current trends of social media. This course introduces students to the concept of digital literacy and develops their ability to critically evaluate digital resources and be aware of digital security and privacy issues. It also explains how social media is an effective communication tool in business and society and provides students with knowledge on social media strategies, content management, engagement strategies and digital marketing skills. Digital Literacy and Social Media course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to adapt to the requirements of the digital age and to communicate effectively in the digital world.
