Programme Outcomes
1.Has a basic knowledge of the concepts related to the field of physiotherapy, the duties and responsibilities of the profession.
2.Gains the ability to use basic knowledge and skills related to physiotherapy, to interpret and evaluate data, and to identify and solve potential problems.
3.Uses the terminology specific to the field of health effectively, knows the concepts and terms of applications related to the basic methods of physiotherapy.
4.They know for what purpose and how the devices used in the physiotherapy unit are used. They take part in applications such as tens, ultrasound and hotpack in the physiotherapy unit, accompanied by a physical therapy specialist and a physiotherapist.
5.Acts in accordance with social, scientific, cultural, ethical principles and values ??during the collection and interpretation of data on physiotherapy patients, and applies his profession within the framework of ethical principles and standards.
6.If required by the responsible physiotherapist, he can assist in the necessary applications.
7.Recognizes the assistive transfer devices (wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, etc.) used by the patients and helps them.
8.It pays attention to patient rights and patient privacy.
9.Takes necessary security measures for patients and healthcare personnel in physiotherapy units.
10.Can define classical massage and apply it under the supervision of a physiotherapist. Knows and recognizes situations where massage is indicated and contraindicated.
11.It works with the responsibility of teamwork within the physiotherapy unit and with other hospital staff.
