Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide the students acquire practical knowledge about the psychological effects of disaster and crisis, related psychopathologies, therapeutic intervention and prevention behaviors used in these pathologies

Course Content

The psychological effects of trauma, symptoms, basic dynamics of trauma care, emotional and cognitive interventions for trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder and post-traumatic growth, take measures to disasters, psychoeducation in dealing with disasters, awareness of society towards disaster.
