Understanding the psychological and social context of suicidal behavior within the scope of this course, explanation of theoretical approach to suicide, evaluation of risk factors associated with suicide, is intended to introduce the treatment and prevention practices.
Definition and prevalence of suicidal behavior, social attitudes towards suicide, sociodemographic, psychological and social risk factors for suicide, assessment of suicide risk and crisis intervention, treatment approaches and prevention interventions in suicide.
