Recognition of Minoan and Mycenaean ceramics. In this context, evaluation of the studies on Minoan and Mycenaean ceramics. It is aimed to teach the chronological and typological characteristics of Minoan and Mycenaean ceramics.
Minoan ceramics are generally divided into three periods: Early, Middle and Late Minoan. The changes in the form and decoration of the ceramics in these periods are quite remarkable. Within the scope of the course, the periodic distinctions of the ceramics will be taught. Mycenaean ceramics are generally divided into three as Late Hellas I, Late Hellas II and Late Hellas III. The changes in the form and decoration of the ceramics in these periods are quite remarkable. Within the scope of the course, periodic distinctions of ceramics will be taught.
