The aim of the subject is to learn the historical, social and and economic background of Roman İmperial Period; to know tthe characteristics of "Roman Art", pottery and other materials; to know the history of studies of Roman potteries, typology and chronology, production methods and stylistic developments and trade; to learn the Anatolian centers and their productions in Roman İmperial Period, excavations, surveys and bibliography.
The economy and history of Roman İmperial period and their provinces. The pottery production, typology and chronology; ancient Roman culture; ancient centers in Roman İmperial period and their pottery productions; other materials (glass, metals); surveys, excavations and bibliography, museums.
