To understand the structure, functions and metabolism of biomolecules of living things.
Structure and functions of biomolecules that make up living things, metabolic energy production and consumption, the importance of water for living things, three-dimensional structure and function of aminosides, peptides and proteins, structure and kinetic mechanisms of enzymes, cofactors and vitamins.
| Prof. Kubilay METİN |
| 1. | Explains the molecular meaning of life and knows the importance of energy for living things |
| 2. | Explains why biomolecules and living things are diverse by giving examples. |
| 3. | Learn the importance of water for living things and know why the internal environment of living things is kept constant. |
| 4. | Explains the chemical and physical structure of amino acids, peptides and proteins and knows their functions in living things. |
| 5. | Explain the importance of enzymes in living things and explain with examples why vitamins and minerals are important. |
