Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to teach the structure and the function of genetic material and to share the knowledge about recent molecular genetics improvements with students. To provide information regarding replication, protein synthesis, mutations and repair mechanisms, regulation of gen expression, gene transfer mechanisms in bacteria and recombinant DNA technology.

Structure and analysis of DNA, Replication, Transcription, Translation, Genetic code, Mutations, Regulation of gene expression, bacterial gene transfer mechanisms, cancer, recombinant DNA technology.
