The aim of the course is to allow the students to become acquainted with the biologies and systematics of vertebrate animals. Also, another objective is also to allow the students to be able to recognise different animal species.
General appearance of fishes, types of scale and caudal fin in fishes, different species of freshwater and marine fishes; amphibian morphology, introduction to urodel and anuran species; introduction to reptile species; general shape of a bird, types of bill and tail in birds; general anatomy of a mammal
