Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the diversity, anatomy, physiology, and ecology of invertebrate animals, and to encourage them to understand the biological significance of these organisms.

Course Content

The Invertebrate Animals Laboratory course aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the general diversity, morphology, anatomy, physiology, and ecology of invertebrate animals. Within this course, students have the opportunity to recognize, classify, and examine the structures of various invertebrate animal groups. Through laboratory observations, they acquire knowledge about the adaptations, life cycles, and behaviors of invertebrates.

1.Learns, evaluates, and applies the basic methods of taxonomy.
2.Can identify groups of invertebrate animals.
3.Can distinguish the systematic categories of invertebrate animals.
4.Learns the details of the body structures of invertebrate animals.
5.Learns the species names of some invertebrate animals.
6.Learns the differences and similarities between groups of invertebrate animals.
7.Acquires knowledge about invertebrate animals that they may encounter in daily life.
8.Learns about some invertebrate animal species that may be important from an economic, medical, and/or veterinary perspective.
