Objectives of the Course

Teaching of animal tissues

Course Content

Types of Tissue, Epithelial Tissue (General Characteristics of Epithelial Tissue, Epithelial Cell Types and Classification of the epithelium, connective tissue (connective tissue types), Adipose Tissue (unilocular and multilocular fat tissue), Blood (Blood Cells, Blood stamps and hematopoiesis), Cartilage Tissue (Hyaline, Elastic, and Wire (fibrous) cartilage), bone tissue (bone cells, matrix, periosteum and bone tissue types Endosteum), Nerve Tissue (Neurons, Synapses, Nöroglia cells)

1.Gains conceptual knowledge about the microscopic anatomy of tissues.
2.Understands and explains the structure and importance of tissues and organs.
3.Obtains information about the functioning and interactions of differentiated/specialized cell and tissue types, organs and systems.
4.Understands and explains the importance of the structural and functional relationship between tissues and systems.
5.Evaluates the relationship at the tissue, organ and system level from a medical perspective.
6.Relates the histological information acquired to different fields of biology.
7.Researches databases related to histology, obtains information about current topics, and interprets the information obtained.
8.Discusses issues related to histology in different scientific platforms.
