The course on Biological Natural Compounds is designed to enable students to understand the chemical structures, biological activities, and functions of natural compounds in organisms. This course aims to provide comprehensive knowledge about the biosynthesis pathways, classification, roles in ecosystems, and medical and industrial applications of natural compounds.
Significance of Biodiversity, definition and classification of natural compounds derived from different organisms, presentation the using fields of natural compounds. Explaining the medical and economical significance of natural compounds. Methods used in extraction, analyse and purification natural compounds. Drug development.
