The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the biologies and systematics of the amphibians and reptiles
General characteristics of amphibians, introduction to urodels and anurans, general characteristics of Turkish species and introduction to these animals in laboratory; general characteristics of reptiles, introduction to Chelonia and Squamata orders, their families and different species, general characteristics of laboratory specimens, differentiation of males and females, venomous and non-venomous snakes.
