Objectives of the Course

To give an understanding and skill on semi-micro analysis of anions and cations and quantitative gravimetric analyses in the analytical chemistry laboratory

Course Content

Scope of analytical chemistry laboratory, Laboratory safety, Solution preparation and concentration, Measurement and sensitivity, Analytical results, Qualitative analysis: Systematic qualitative analysis of cations and anions, Group distinctions with specific reagents, The single recognition reactions, Solid samples to be taken to solution, Application of gravimetric analysis.
