Objectives of the Course

To give students information about the synthesis and properties of transition metals and their complexes, and to provide them with the ability to explain the structures of complexes with ligand field theory.

Course Content

This course begins with an introduction to coordination chemistry and continues with experiments involving the synthesis of transition metal complexes.
