Objectives of the Course

To teach the properties and reactions of nonmetal elements of groups 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A, 7A in the periodic table.

Course Content

Learning information about the general properties of nonmetals, characteristic trends in the periodic table, the formation of nonmetals, their atomic and molecular properties, physical and chemical properties, their compounds and the areas of use of these compounds in industry.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to comprehend the general properties and classification of nonmetals.
2.To be able to learn the nonmetals and relationship between properties
3.Learns chemical bonds and molecular structures and uses them in the field of chemistry and on an industrial scale.
4.Learns the physical and chemical properties of the main group elements (nonmetals), can analyze them, explains their molecular properties, and prepares for synthesis.
5.Have a solid basic knowledge of chemistry about the most important chemical reactions of inorganic substances.
