Objectives of the Course

To give students information about the synthesis and properties of main group elements (I-IV A) and their compounds, and to provide them with the ability to explain their molecular structures with VSEPR theory.

Course Content

This course begins with the introduction of basic synthesis and characterization methods and continues with experiments involving the synthesis of I-IVA group elements and compounds.
