Objectives of the Course

To introduce the field of sociology of literature, stimulate interest in studies carried out on the field, give rise to a consciousness concerned with unique, irreplaceable influence of literature and other fine arts, despite their different future fields of study, on self progress of an individual.

1.(The students) acquire a systematic view of why art in general, literature in special are important for society.
2.appreciate the unique importance of being interested in literature and art for personal development.
