Objectives of the Course

To make students understand the structure of Arabic words used in Ottoman Turkish and thus facilitate the student's mastery of Ottoman Turkish texts.

Course Content

Arabic infinitives, simple infinitives and their active and passive participles, derived infinitives and their active and passive participles, modal adjectives, comparative and intensifying adjectives, exaggerated active participles, time names, place names, equipment names, affiliation, diminutive nouns, Arabic pronouns, Arabic prepositions and Arabic phrases.
