Providing the students with the general and basic historical characteristics of Turkish language

The place of Turkish among the other World languages, the relations with other languages, the local and foreign researches on Turkish language, the study of the example texts chronologically

1.Have basic knowledge about Turkology and Altayistics.
2.Gains information about historical dialects.
3.To be able to compose and analyze in his knowledge and thought, criticize and comment on the given information about Turkish language, Turkish culture and Turkish literature
4.Gains information about the texts written in historical Turkish dialects and the content of these works.
5.Can develop a comparative and holistic perspective on historical Turkish dialects.
