Objectives of the Course

In the sixteenth century Turkish literature and political, social and literary status in Anatolian area and to determine the background of history of developments in literary. Introduction of the poet and the authors of the period and to read and to interpret in their works sample texts.

Learning Outcomes
1.to be able to comprehend the effects of political and social situation in the literature in Anatolia in the sixteenth century, the reflections of the effects of political and social situation in the literature and Gain to benefit from interdisciplinary interaction
2.to be able to give examples to famous poet Fuzuli's works and the biographical works of Latifi.
3.to be able to comprehend and interpret the style of his poems Fuzuli.
4.to be able to compare the literary aspects of Fuzuli and Baki and determine their common and different aspects.
5.to be able to interpret Baki’s dirge of Kanuni
6.to be able to interpret Fuzuli’s Rose ode
