To give information about the birth of the novel, the introduction of the novel genre to Turkish literature, concepts and elements related to novel theory. To teach to analyze the narratives at the theoretical level by analyzing the novel, to reveal the meanings in the deep structure by finding the basic themes and conflicts.
To explain the functions of the theoretical elements in the novel by giving information about the case, case parts (sections), narrator and point of view problems, characters, types, narration, showing, montage, leitmotiv, space and objects in the literary work. To approach the narrative at the theoretical level by analyzing novels through sample texts and to show conceptually and theoretically how literary works are constructed.
