Objectives of the Course

The students give knowledge general about Ottoman Campaign Organization. This campaigns will be explained carried out what kind of difficulty.

Course Content

Military troops of assignmented during Ottoman expeditions was services social classes as quality, features of ways used by soldiers, transportation and shipping services, soldiers, taxs using for feed of load and riding animals (avarız, nüzul, sürsat and some services procurement), strengthening castles on border, introduction of troops backoffice, army supply, mekkâreci, bridge builder. This lesson will be deal with mukataa and expenses of war which request from various region for expeditions of Ottoman Empire

4.Learn how the Ottoman campaigns were financed.
5.Students will have knowledge about the Ottoman military structure and its relationship with the state administration and various social layers.
