Objectives of the Course

The course aims to teach students such subjects as economy, population, society and finance in the Ottoman Empire

Course Content

Effects of changes in the socio-economical structure that occured in XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries on the Ottoman society, new power centers emerged in provinces and their relations to central government and commercial relations of capitalist states with the Ottoman Empire during the XIXth century.
