To learn the developments and changes on the way from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic in the light of the concepts of Modernization, Modernization and Westernization and to compare with the events in Europe.
This course focuses on all developments in society and administration on the path of modernization, and not only the problems of the Ottoman period but also the changes of the past and present.
