Objectives of the Course

Introducing the history of the local history which is a different perspective of historiography, teaching the method and method of local history research to young researches, emphasizing the sense of identity and belonging with this field based studies, understanding that ordinary people and even the ones closest to us have entered into the field of history research, the student's understanding, understanding the importance of dealing with it and helping them learn how to research, write, or talk about the history of ours

Course Content

To be able to explain the concept of local history, the emergence of local history as a new method in the field of history, to explain the importance of local history, to determine the targets to be reached in local history researches, to determine the place of local history research in the general history
