Objectives of the Course

Aim of the course, basic concepts and theoretical approaches to the political parties and the party system and take concrete reflection of Turkey in their politics. The course is planned in two sections. In the first part, a theoretical framework will be formed that deals with political parties and party systems. In this context, the concept of political party, the historical, cultural, social and economic conditions affecting the emergence of political parties will be examined and the characteristics of different party types will be examined. In the second part, the political parties in Turkey, ideology, organization structures, will be scrutinized in the context of the social base and leadership structures.
