Objectives of the Course

Noting the importance of healthy human history of the development of the printing press in the world, the delay caused by the arrival of the printing press in Turkey and consequently to understand the historical development and change process of the Turkish Press Release lives newspapers in the Republic of Turkey from the Ottoman Empire and magazines press history under evaluation

Constitutional monarchy period newspapers and magazines, Matbahat law and changes made on it, Republican period press and publication movements: Takrir-i Sükun, Independence Courts, 1931 Matbuat and Penal Laws, Single Party Period, the restrictions imposed on the press, 1939-1945 II. World war and the political events of the period in the press on the analysis of newspaper examples, 1946-1950 period of Turkish Journalism, 1950-1960 Period Turkish Journalism and the effect of DP on the press
