Objectives of the Course

From ancient Greece to the present day, all of the ideas put forward in the field of political philosophy regarding the regulation of the relations between the individual-society-state are the search for what the ideal government is. In this course, we will show that the search for the ideal government continues from the past to the present. We will try to answer the question of whether ideal government is possible or not. The question of ideal government or ideal man is still not a solved problem. However, it will be tried to be explained that the more honestly one can answer this question, the closer one will get to the ideal government. The views of philosophers, clergymen, politicians, etc. who are interested in this problem will be examined, and students will be told what the power balance and brake mechanisms are on how they can develop more ideal governance models in their own countries.
