Objectives of the Course

To examine the characteristics and effects of Ottoman Modernization. It aims to evaluate the break with the classical structure and the Westernization efforts together with the results.

Course Content

In the Ottoman State, information will be given about the renewal studies starting with the Tulip Period. The effects of innovation studies on Republican Revolutions will be emphasized.
