Objectives of the Course

To present information about the daily life rituals in the Ottoman Empire.

Course Content

In the Ottoman Empire, information about the social structure, neighborhood culture, family, eating and drinking habits, costume and clothes, education of children will be presented.

Changes in daily life in the Ottoman Empire. Differences caused by changing time and geography

House, household, residential, neighborhood, neighborhood, furnishing and household goods.

Clothing, nutrition and eating habits.

Daily life, bazaar, market, coffeehouses, baths.
