To educate individuals who prepare themselves for the future with the methodical approach of “Learn the past, understand the present and build the future,” and learn what the internal and external security of a country is. To help raise theoreticians, security experts and policy makers who can turn history into a strategy; to teach the concepts of strategy, logic, balance of power, intelligence methods and analysis, to gain the ability to interpret historical events with a strategic mind. To teach that internal security cannot be considered separately from external security.
Turkey's geopolitical, geostrategic, ecostrategic and theostrategic position makes it necessary to provide a multifaceted education in social sciences. The geography we are in is not just any geography of the world. Turkey is located at geopolitical, geostrategic, ecostrategic, theostrategic intersection, conflict and break points. In addition, the countries of the world and the owners of global capital acting as supra-states produce strategies and act with a more complex and complex, fuzzy and fringed logic. Students who choose this course will be taught security and intelligence theories that can learn the past, analyze the present correctly and build the future correctly by reading strategic history. Strategy and security studies are carried out together with realpolitik and world developments. Turkey's development efforts will gain momentum with individuals who have sufficient mental equipment and knowledge on these issues. Learning the historical strategies and tactics of intellectual imperialism will give students the ability to think strategically and recognize the world more realistically. Opposition movements and social structures in the region will be explained. The major causes of conflict in the region, the possibilities of reconciliation and peace in conflict areas, and the region's place in international politics will be examined. The course will also focus on orientalist and modernist perspectives and preconceived perceptions of the region. It will be ensured that they have knowledge within a certain general framework on issues such as economic intelligence, psychological warfare, manipulation, perception and mass management, international terrorism, world intelligence agencies, counterintelligence, the functioning of effective think tanks in the world, and the international system.
