To teach general view of 19th century French Literature. To introduce historical developments, social conditions and prominent writers and thinkers’ lives, works and literary characters. Students read the works by some authors and poets of the era, and they discuss the reading material in class.
Teaching 19th century French history and literature in term of its literary genres, literary figures and their works.
