Initiating from the general knowledge gained from linguistics courses, to understand the syntactical structure of narratives, narrative analysis and to examine different sorts of narratives
Study of syntactical structure of narratives, narrative analysis, and different types of narratives

| 1. | To be able to compare difference between “utterance” and “enunciation |
| 2. | To be able to comprehend that “enunciation” produces “utterances” within the constraints of elements namely person-place-time by acquisition |
| 3. | To be able to comprehend and apply grammatical units that “enunciation” leaves an imprint on a produced utterance |
| 4. | To be able to use objective elements in subjective imprints in statements |
| 5. | To be able to express that enunciation has two levels, namely “discourse” and “narrative |
| 6. | To be able to idetify that each level has a system peculiar to itself |
| 7. | To be able to distinguish systems from the other systems by examining person-place-time elements |
| 8. | To be able to comprehend the concept of narrator in a narrative, difference between a writer and a narrator, narrative styles and narrator’s point of view |
