Objectives of the Course

To teach the techniques that would give the same meaning through different sentence structures and to show students the advantages by applying these techniques on different kinds of texts such as short story, essay, novel etc.; to teach how to translate without any semantic loss.

Course Content

The use of different sentence structures for the translation of the same idea (paraphrasing); the limits of interpretation during translation; the importance of choosing the appropriate word for the context (collocation), translation of a novel English literature.
