Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to survey the various philosophical concepts such as Philosophy, Concept, Knowledge, Ontology, Ethics, Human Being, Freedom, Art, Human Rights etc. on the basis of the different meanings they gain in the various philosophers and to discuss the conclusions arrived at through such a survey.

Course Content

The basic concepts in the main fields of philosophy such as Philosophy, Concept, Knowledge, Ontology, Ethics, Human Being, Freedom, Art, Human Rights etc. will be studied and discussed on the basis of the different meanings they gain in the various philosophers.

1.Students recognize and define the basic concepts of the main fields of philosophy.
2.Students differentiate the meanings of these concepts in the various philosophers' different views taking place in the history of philosophy

4.They quest and evaluate his/her own thoughts and others' thoughts in the light of knowledge relating to philosophical concepts
5.They evaluate and discuss human and world problems in the light of knowledge relating to philosophical concepts
