Objectives of the Course

To investigate the behavior of harmonic oscillator under the different conditions, as a result of this, to investigate the effect on the behavior of the wave and the results which is obtained should be apply different system.

1.Students apply Newton's laws to problems.
2.Students define concepts such as wavelength and frequency, which are the basic concepts of waves.
3.Students explain and give examples of the concepts of transverse wave and longitudinal wave.
4.Students write and solve the equations of motion of vibrating systems.
5.Students explain the differences between traveling and standing waves.
6.Students explain the effect of external forces acting on the system on the harmonic behavior of the system.
7.Students write the wave equation and explain its physical basis.
