Objectives of the Course

To teach Ottoman works methodologically, To gain ability to recognize and identify the works

Course Content

Historical monuments of Ottoman architecture, the building process, with the decorations, as well as the development of the plan types will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to comprehend the development of Ottoman architecture and art of the Classical Period.
2.To be able to examine and evaluate the works according to the characteristics of the Classical Period of the Ottoman Architecture
3.To be able to describe the classical works of Ottoman art and architecture
4.They learn the innovations brought by Classical Turkish architecture in Classical period.
5.Students will be informed about the place of architect Sinan and Turkish architecture.
