Objectives of the Course

Anadolu’da Selçuklu Dönemi Sanatı içerisinde mezar anıtlarının incelenmesi. Yatay ve Dikey karakterli türbelerin, plan, mimari ve süslemeleri yönlerinden değerlendirilmesi.

Course Content

To examine grave monuments in Anatolian Seljuk art.To evaluate horizontal and vertical character shrines in terms of plan, architecture and decoration

Learning Outcomes
1.To be able to explain the plan and architectural characteristics of the shrines which are burial monuments
2.To be able to define the correlation between the tradition of burying the dead and grave monuments in Anatolia.
3.To be able to define the factors that affects the origin of the grave monuments and formation in Anatolia
4.To be able to define the cities where the grave monuments are common in Seljuk period and the differences from other cities.
5.To be able to define the correlation of Anatolian Seljuk funerary monuments with the pre-cultural community.
