Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to help learner to see the relationship between advanced level language structures and meaning, to work out rules for themselves and also work out what is the most probable choice in particular contexts (formal/informal), to attribute meaning using these structures.

Course Content

This course contains firstly sentence structure and revision of tenses and lately learning and analyzing complex grammar structures in English.

1.To be able to define the sentence structure and elements in English
2.To be able to distinguish different tense structures and use them properly
3.To be able to distinguish active and passive sentence structures.
4.To be able to examine different tense structures in passages and use these structures in different contexts.
5.To be able to examine the difference between formal and informal language and use the properly.
6.To be able to compare auxiliary verbs and similar patterns and use them properly.
7.To be able to compare and examine the definite and indefinite articles.
8.To be able to write and speak gramatically correct English.
