This course aims to analyze similar and different sides of the mythologies of different cultures and their similarities with the discourses of monotheistic religions. Sumerian, Chinese, Egyptian, Norse and Indian mythologies are given to the students. The aim of the course is to provide students both with making sense of the world and with developing artistic point of view through world mythologies given with examples.
Sumerian, Chinese, Egyptian, Norse and Indian mythologies and the similar features among all these mythologies.
