Objectives of the Course

Achieving Linguistic Proficiency Goals in Four Skills 1. Proficiently analyzing and interpreting written and spoken texts. 2. Communicating effectively and clearly in Arabic with others. 3. Developing Arabic listening skills. 4. Grasping Arabic sentence structure. Attaining Linguistic Competence in the Application of Linguistic Elements 1. Distinguishing verb tenses. 2. Mastering the daily vocabulary and usage of language structures. 3. Connecting sentences appropriately.

Course Content

The Arabic (I) curriculum can be summarized as follows: It focuses on two main subjects, namely Nahw (syntax) and Sarf (morphology), as well as on four fundamental skills: reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking.

Learning Outcomes
1.The understanding of linguistic logic is achieved through activities such as question-answer, fill-in-the-blanks, true-false, and matching.
2.Students can communicate smoothly and effortlessly in Arabic on various topics. They acquire proficiency in reading and understanding basic Arabic sources.
3.They differentiate between past, present, and imperative verb usages through activities like identifying correct or incorrect statements, filling in blanks, and matching.
4.Utilizing unit topics, they express their shopping needs, develop the ability to describe thıngs through conversations.
5.They distinguish and articulate expressions related to the topic discussed in what they hear/watch. They grasp the use of linguistic structures such as talkıng about tourism during topic discussions.
6.They follow simple, clear, slow, and understandable daily conversations. They learn to use words related to food and drinks in sentences.
7.They learn to predict the continuation and outcome of events when listening.
8.They learn to complete an initiated conversation aimed at simple and concrete communication.
9.They learn to identify place, time, person, and subject in stories.
10.They learn to include subject and verb sentences in their written sentences/texts/dialogues. They write a short text about prophets mentioned in the Quran.
11.In oral communication, they know how to use verb sentences. In their written sentences/texts/dialogues, they learn to use "Kâne and its sisters".
12.They learn concepts of Islamic ethics from the text/dialogue they listen to and can write when they hear expressions related to thematic subjects.
13.They draw conclusions about the purpose of the Quran's revelation and its importance for understanding from the text/dialogue they read.
14.They grasp expressions of scope, sequence, and process found in texts.
