Objectives of the Course

It aims to create a solid tafsir culture and tafsir methodology formed by the compilation of useful information and methods in accordance with scientific principles and useful information and methods from the accumulation of knowledge and methods put forward in these activities by examining the concepts, subjects and sources of the Tafsir Methodology. It aims to provide a tafsir formation in accordance with scientific principles, covering the information, approaches, solutions and methods that will be needed in the face of current religious problems and social problems.

Course Content

In the content of the course, a sound tafsir methodology has been revealed based on the scientific principles and principles based on the understanding and interpretation of the Qur'ân al-kerîm. By analysing the concepts, subjects and sources belonging to the Tafsir Methodology, the accumulation of knowledge and method put forward in these activities has been determined. In this way, the principles, principles and systems followed during the 14-century historical course of the Qur'ân al-kerîm have been examined and what needs to be done for its correct understanding today has been emphasised.

Learning Outcomes
1.Knows the reasons for the emergence of the method of exegesis.
2.Understands the debates on tafsir methodology in classical and modern periods.
3.Knows the differences between Kavâidü't-tefsir, ulûmu'l-Qur'ân and tafsir methodology.
4.Gains the ability to transfer the high moral and spiritual values brought by the Qur'an to the contemporary world.
5.He becomes aware that the Qur'an is the absolute truth and its interpretations are conditionally true and gains the habit of acting selectively accordingly.
6.It is understood that the Qur'an, as a divine book, gives messages on a universal scale.
7.In the solution of current tafsir problems, the achievements of the tafsir methodology course are applied.
