Objectives of the Course

The course aims to explain basic concepts and subjects , •To help students to identify important finance problems in the work life and teach techniques and methods that will be used in solving these problemes and financial decision making.

Course Content

This course aims to explain basic concepts and subjects as an introductory course to finance. In this context, the subjects introduction to financial management, financial tables and cash flow, working with financial statements, longterm financial planning, time value of money, capital budgeting and project analysis will be explained.

1.To be able to understand the position, objectives and importance of finance function in businesses and learn the procedures in this function
2.To be able to identify financial data about businesses and to be able to analyze and interpret these data by financial techniques and methods
3.To be able to use theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the basic field of finance
4. Learn financial aspects of business combinations and acquisitions.
5. Have knowledge about special finance topics.
