Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to design the experiments by using the statistical methods to obtain as much information from the results as they can.

Course Content

Experiments with a single factor and the analysis of variance. Randomized blocks, Latin Squares, and related designs. Introduction to factorial designs. The 2k factorial designs. Blocking and confounding in the 2k factorial lldesign. Two-level fractional factorial designs. Three-level and mixed-level factorial and fractional factorial designs.Factorial experiments with random factors. Nested and split-plot desings.Process optimization.
