This course aims to explain the economic elements underlying ecological relations and to discuss policy solutions to modern environmental problems from an economic perspective. It is aimed to provide students with knowledge about the role of economics in the formation of ecological problems and the legal, political and economic dimensions of the measures taken at national and international level.
The topics that make up the content of this course are as follows: Historical and intellectual origins of ecological problems, classification of ecological problems, ecological problems becoming an international issue, legal, political and economic measures taken against ecological problems, Turkey's history and current state of ecological policy.
