Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to equip our students with an elementary level of English which will enable them to talk about everyday topics.

1.To understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases
2.Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives and things he/she has
3.Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help
4. Develop awareness for their passive knowledge in various fields and utilize this knowledge in actual translation situations
5. Able to acquire the basic skils for fast and effective reading and apply them in translation situations
