Objectives of the Course

This course aims to help students understand the power of knowledge and information and to examine the effects of developments in this field on the socio-economic structures of societies. Developments in ICT are rapidly changing the socio-economic structures of societies. Societies' ability to sustain their development in a globalizing world depends on their ability to adapt to these changes. To this end, the course aims to identify global developments and discuss strategies for adaptation.
