Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to examine Türkiye–European Union relations from past to present through various perspectives, to discuss current issues, and to provide insights into the future of the relationship.

Course Content

This course examines the relations between Turkey and the European Union in terms of historical development, institutional structure, foreign policy, economy, migration, customs union, and the accession process. The course analyzes both areas of cooperation and disruptions in relations, while also discussing scenarios for the future.
